2026 AAU Select Teams

Eligibility

This program is for AAU league age players 8–12.

AAU league age is determined as of April 30, 2026.

Please note: this is different from the in-town Little League age cutoff of August 31, 2026.

Season Overview

Players selected and accepting roster spots will begin winter practices on Sundays at Extra Innings starting after MLK Day.

Outdoor practices will begin in late March and continue into early April.

Once the in-town season begins, AAU practices will be limited to prioritize in-town commitments.

AAU teams will play one weekend doubleheader per week (home or away). Make-up games may add to this schedule. Game times and days for away games are determined by the host team.

The season typically runs from early April through mid-June. If the team qualifies, playoffs are usually held the second weekend of June.

Last spring, teams played 6–7 doubleheader weekends (12–14 games total).

All AAU players are also expected to participate in in-town baseball.

The roster fee for the 2026 spring season is $450.

Roster Information

Teams will consist of 10–12 players, with a limited number of alternates.

Alternates will have a reduced fee compared to full roster players.

Tryout Dates (Free to Attend)

12U Tryouts: Sunday, September 21 at 4:30 PM – Casey Park

Rain Date: Sunday, September 28 at 4:30 PM – Casey Park

10U Tryouts: Sunday, September 21 at 4:30 PM – Bemis Field

Rain Date: Sunday, September 28 at 4:30 PM – Bemis Field

If your player cannot attend the scheduled tryout, please still register for the tryout and email us to let us know you would like them to be considered for a team. All players will be evaluated not only on this year’s tryout but also on their skill sets and performance from past seasons.
